Poldark

Jim Carter dies; Verity makes new plans to elope; the Warleggans use their power to diminish the prosperity of Ross' Carnmore Copper Company.

Mark Daniel finds out about Keren's affair with Dwight Enys; Ross helps Mark evade the authorities.

Demelza discovers that Ross' trial is in danger of being undermined by perjured witnesses hired by George Warleggan.

Ross gives Jud his old job back; Demelza realizes she is pregnant again; Ross and Francis patch things up.

Ross raises capital and makes a deal with a smuggler; Jud is beaten, and the rumor spreads that he is dead.

Prudie decides to hold a grand wake for Jud; Demelza goes into labor while fishing.

A year later, Demelza has given birth to a son and Ross has opened Wheal Grace; Caroline breaks off her engagement.

Ross accompanies Trencrom's smugglers in an attempt to find Mark Daniel and, possibly, a copper vein.

Ross reacts strongly to news of Elizabeth's impending marriage and a tragedy at Wheal Grace.

The strain between Ross and Demelza is intensified when the Poldark-Warleggan feud comes to a head; homeless miners burn Trenwith to the ground.
