Micawber

Despite modest means, a disbarred lawyer (David Jason) leads a happy life, then the death of someone dear leads him to the truth.

Micawber is offered a job at a theater, then Ismail tracks him down, but the two find common ground.

Micawber faces imprisonment, but a brilliant defense leads to a reunion with an old acquaintance and a new job.

Micawber becomes under butler to the Duke of Hailsworth and Lady Charlotte; he soon discovers the house is full of secrets and intrigues.
