Zoe returns to London to help her ailing mother, but the doctor also becomes an interest of her's.

Sybil falls ill, suffering alone while the others deal with affairs and sudden pregnancies.

The family business suffers but so does Sybil, who hides her recent surgery from her distracted family.

Christopher is sent to a psychiatric ward after declaring the horrors of war; Neville's father is still missing.

Sybil's condition finally causes concerns; Diana and an unexpected visitor have some alarming news as well.
