The Amazing Race

Racing around the globe, 11 pairs of people rely on teamwork and ingenuity to complete challenges and win $1 million.

Trying to overcome bad luck and their fear of heights, the teams approach South America's breathtaking Iguazu Falls.

The teams fly from Brazil to Cape Town, South Africa; one team oversleeps while another debates the wisdom of waking them.

The teams dash to make one of only two charters leaving Cape Town, South Africa, for Namibia and a desert journey.

All of the remaining teams find themselves on the same airplane winging its way from the desert of Namibia to the exotic streets of Bangkok, Thailand.

A long railway ride through Thailand takes a toll on the teams before they encounter elephants and stage river-rafting races.

Seven teams race from the mountains of northern Thailand to the streets of Hong Kong, hoping to avoid elimination.

Five teams race from Hong Kong to Sydney and into the Australian Outback during an intercontinental dash.

Four teams race from the Australian Outback to the South Island of New Zealand to face a high-speed river ride, unruly sheep and a 450-foot bungee jump.

Four teams battle to make the final leg, racing from New Zealand's South Island to its capital city of Auckland.

The three remaining teams race to the finish line at an undisclosed U.S. location in hopes of winning the $1 million grand prize.
