Great Expectations

Pip has a terrifying encounter with an escaped convict; The mysterious Miss Havisham summons Pip to Satis House, where he finds himself falling for her adopted daughter, Estella.

Pip receives a great fortune from an undisclosed benefactor and moves to London to start his new life as a gentleman.

Pip quickly acquires expensive tastes and mounting debts; Pip returns to Satis House and once again meets Estella.

Pip is horrified upon discovering the identity of his benefactor and no longer wants anything to do with his great fortune.

Pip is heartbroken to learn that Estella is going to be married off; Pip attempts to rescue Miss Havisham from a fire.

Magwitch is captured and sentenced to death; Pip returns to the village where he grew up, now older and wiser.
