Tough as Nails

The cast -- which includes a welder, firefighter, farmer, roofer and a Marine Corps veteran -- is introduced; wheelbarrow navigation and bricklaying skills are tested; the competitors work to complete the missing part of a railroad track.

The crew competes in a series of challenges at a junkyard, where a car must be taken apart to retrieve parts; the last two standing need all the strength they can "spare" in an overtime challenge that requires removing tires from the rims.

Tensions run high during the team challenge when one crew has issues with communication while building a large fence on a farm.

Teams compete to fill and seal giant bags of sand; the bottom two compete in a challenge to fill a huge hourglass with sand.

Teams are challenged mentally and physically when tasked with pushing 24 heavy barrels up a hill and arranging them in a specific order at an oil field; one crew member must conquer a fear of heights to climb a telephone pole.

Teams are tasked with packing a moving van; the competitors look to avoid elimination during the individual competition by collecting and loading trash into a moving garbage truck.

Teams Savage Crew and Dirty Hands compete in the final competition to win the overall team prize.

The final five competitors battle to be crowned the champion and win the $200,000 prize; the finalists get a much-needed boost when their loved ones cheer them on.
