The Doctor discovers that he has arrived on Earth the year 2017 A.D. and that he is the exact double of a would-be dictator called Salamander.

The Doctor is informed by Astrid's boss, Kent, that the world is on the verge of domination by a charismatic scientist and politician named Salamander.

The Doctor impersonates his lookalike, would-be dictator Salamander, to penetrate a research station controlled by Salamander's minions.

Giles Kent is revealed to be a traitor, in league with would-be 21st century dictator Salamander; the Doctor infiltrates the dictator's research station.

Traitorous scientist Kent has blown up the research station infiltrated by the Doctor; not long afterward, Salamander, who bears a startling resemblance to the Doctor, makes an appearance.

Having been thwarted in his plans to rule the world, Salamander tries to make a quick getaway by posing as the Doctor. Manning the controls of the TARDIS, Salamander tries to escape.

Long after their first encounter, the Doctor, Jamie and Victoria discover that Yeti have invaded the London Underground. A very old friend lends a helping hand.

The Doctor discovers that an army of futuristic Yeti robots has been unleashed in the London subway system.

An army of Yeti robots runs amok in the London subway system, controlled by the alien Great Intelligence. To prevent this havoc from reaching the surface, the Doctor enlists the aid of the entire British Army.

Col. Lethbridge-Stuart of the British Army leads a counterattack against the Yeti robots, which have taken over the London subway system.

The Great Intelligence continues to deploy his army of Yeti robots to take over London, and then the world; fortunately, the villain's efforts to steal the mind of the Doctor have failed.

Col. Lethbridge-Stuart successfully drives back the invasion of the Yeti robots, but the Great Intelligence persists in his scheme to conquer the world.

The Doctor and Jamie arrive on a spacecraft whose only occupant is a dangerous Servo Robot.

The Doctor and Jamie are rescued and taken aboard the Wheel but Jamie sabotages the laser.

Cybermats are sent to the Wheel to eat the stations supply of bernalium.

The station is in danger of being destroyed by the approaching meteor storm.

The Cybermen reveal their plans to invade Earth, using the Wheel as a guiding beacon.

The Doctor and the crew of the Wheel battle valiantly against the invading Cybermen.
