Paul Jackman: This Old House Makers Channel

Paul handcrafts 40 candles, 1,000 pencils, and machines a map onto reclaimed pine boards.

Paul builds giant mechanical wooden hands and a life-size nutcracker made out of almost 2,000 pieces of wood.

Inspired by the giant blade created by fellow maker Jimmy Diresta, Paul makes a wooden utility knife; he builds a river-table-pallet slide puzzle and restores a pallet because - it's a pallet.

Paul builds a baseball chair from 2x4s and recreates the iconic Craftsman screwdriver.

Unique designs evolve into something much bigger.

Working with his favorite material, Paul carves a wavy vase and set of shelves.

Paul carves a bench from ash logs, gives the Adirondack chair a beefy design update, and makes a puzzle box with a hidden latch and a secret drawer.

Paul builds an 8-foot tall, 90-pound hammer from reclaimed southern yellow pine and makes a hand plane three times the original size.

The iconic leg lamp gets a Jackman-style makeover; Paul carves a picture frame and crafts a one-of-a-kind guitar while working with Tim Sway.

Paul makes a topographic map that also displays photos; he builds a dresser made from 2x4-foot plywood panels and oak.
