Missing: The Other Side

Kim Wook, an honest con artist who tricks other con artists, witnesses a kidnapping of a woman by chance. To silence him, the kidnappers pursue Kim Wook, who flees to Duon Village. There, Kim Wook meets a mysterious person and learns a secret.

After witnessing strange things, Kim Wook learns the truth about Duon Village from Jang Panseok. Meanwhile, Shin Junho, a talented detective, pursues the prime suspect in Haneul's case, Kim Wook.

Kim Wook meets Choi Yeona, the victim of the kidnapping he had witnessed and Shin Junho's lover. Jang Panseok and Shin Junho each search for their loved ones to no avail. A criminal act inside Duon Village sparks an uproar among the populace.

Kim Namguk's death deals a heavy blow to Kim Wook, who teams up with Lee Jong-ah to find the killer. Meanwhile, Shin Junho asks for help from Baek Ildu and Kim Wook in finding Choi Yeona, his lover.

Kim Wook realizes that Kim Hyunmi is his mother and wonders how and when she came to be in Duon village. At the same time, Kim Wook and Jang Panseok search for Woo Ilseok's corpse for the safety of the townsfolk.

After discovering that his mother once worked for Han Yeohee, chairwoman of Choiseung Construction, Kim Wook begins to narrow down the suspects. Meanwhile, Jang Panseok also realizes that Kim Hyunmi is Kim Wook's mother.

Kim Wook questions Han Yeohee about his mother's death, but her answer is underwhelming. Shin Junho initiates DNA tests of the orphans to match their genes with the chairwoman. Choi Yeona enters the abandoned house in Duon Village with Kim Wook.

After Kim Wook and Choi Yeona confront Thomas about the captives tied up in the abandoned house, the townsfolk hold a meeting about the matter. Meanwhile, Jang Panseok ponders whether he should find Jangmi's body.

Shin Junho fails to meet the mysterious caller but manages to save Kim Wook. Kim Hyunmi begins to suspect Kim Wook and Jang Panseok, who disappear from Duon Village now and then. Shin Junho tracks down his lover and realizes the sad truth.

Han Yeohee entrusts a key piece of evidence with Kim Wook and Shin Junho, but tensions regarding Choi Yeona's whereabouts still exist between them. While on a walk, Choi Yeona meets Shin Junho by chance and has an inaudible conversation.

Kim Wook plans to bait the suspects for evidence by impersonating as Han Yeohee's heir. Meanwhile, Jang Panseok awaits the results of a DNA test, and Baek Ildu finally cracks the case of Jang Panseok's daughter.

Kim Wook coerces a confession out of the culprit and helps Shin Junho locate his lover. Meanwhile, Jang Panseok is still unable to find his daughter nor squeeze any information out of the arrested perpetrator.
