Two Mothers

Dong Hyun, Yeon Hee's boyfriend, dies because of Yeon Hee's father. Three years later, Yeon Hee marries Byung Guk against her will. Yeon Hee faints during the wedding ceremony. Hwa Young starts working at the restaurant owned by Jin Sook.

Hee Ja tells Byung Guk and Yeon Hee to get divorced, and Geum Ok visits Hee Ja after hearing it. Hwa Young runs into Byung Guk at the restaurant she works, but Byung Guk doesn't recognize her. Jin Sook suggests surrogacy to Hee Ja.

Hee Ja and Jin Sook tell Yeon Hee to consider surrogacy as an option, but Byung Guk is strongly against it and tells them he and Yeon Hee will move out of the house. However, Yeon Hee tells Byung Guk that she wants to have a baby of her own.

Sung Bin visits Yeon Hee to ask about surrogacy. Chu Ja and Chan Sik meet Hee Ja and ask her for compensation.

Hwa Young witnesses Byung Guk having a great dinner with his wife and in-laws and gets shocked.

Hwa Young tries to seduce Chul. Gong Hee tells Chan Sik that Grace Lee is Hwa Young, and Chu Ja learns it too.

Byung Guk stays out overnight without calling Yeon Hee in advance. Hwa Young gives Yeon Hee lingerie as a gift.

No one in the family realizes that it is Yeon Hee's birthday. Sung Bin asks Jun Hee to deliver the birthday gift he bought for Yeon Hee, making Jun Hee frustrated. Hwa Young buys the same ring as the one Byung Guk buys for Yeon Hee.

Byung Guk comes to Yeon Hee's cafe when Yeon Hee is with Hwa Young, and they have dinner together.

Hwa Young calls Chul out again. Yeon Hee hears the rumor about Byung Guk and Grace Lee from Sung Bin and learns that Hwa Young is Grace Lee. Jun Hee witnesses Sung Bin getting in Yeon Hee’s car and feels upset.

Yeon Hee and Byung Guk have a fight, and Byung Guk goes to Hwa Young's place. Hee Ja visits Byung Guk's office.

After witnessing Byung Guk and Hwa Young together, Hee Ja tells Byung Guk to end the relationship, but Byung Guk insists they are only business partners. Hwa Young sends flowers to Yeon Hee to appease her.

Hwa Young asks Chul to review the proposal. Chu Ja and Chan Sik move Hwa Young’s stuff out of her studio to make her live with them. Chu Ja tells Hwa Young that she has been diagnosed with cancer. Hwa Young runs into Hee Ja in Byung Guk’s office.

Hee Ja tells Byung Guk about who Grace Lee really is, putting him in shock. Hwa Young has a meal with Jin Woo, Yeon Hee, and Geum Ok at Jin Sook’s restaurant. Hwa Young takes Jin Woo out to a toy shop.

Hwa Young tells Jin Sook that Jin Woo is her son, and Jin Sook tells Hee Ja about it. Chan Sik, Jin Sook, Ki Sub, and Gong Hee go on an outing and stop by the rest service area. Byung Guk learns that Hwa Young gave birth to Jin Woo.

Hee Ja tells Byung Guk to end the relationship with Hwa Young and give up on the deal with Lassa. Yeon Hee receives pictures of Byung Guk and Hwa Young together. Feeling frustrated, Yeon Hee meets Sung Bin, and Byung Guk happens to see them together.

Yeon Hee happens to hear the conversation between Hee Ja and Jin Sook and feels even more confused. Chul wants Jun Hee to go on blind dates he sets up for her so that she gets over Sung Bin. But Jun Hee resists doing as he says.

Infuriated, Sung Bing visits Byung Guk and hits him. Byung Guk suspects Yeon Hee and Sung Bin’s relationship.

Yeon Hee witnesses Hwa Young and Byung Guk together in a hotel room. Sung Bin runs out to console Yeon Hee after getting a call from her, making Jun Hee curious. Yeon Hee asks Haw Young to meet up.

Byung Guk tells Yeon Hee that he will end the relationship with Hwa Young. Hwa Young plans to drag Chul down.

For Byung Guk and Jun Hee, Yeon Hee tells Sung Bin not to meet anymore. Byung Guk takes Jin Woo to an amusement park to let Hwa Young see him secretly from Yeon Hee. Hwa Young has a good time with Jin Woo.

Jun Hee finds out that Byung Guk is cheating on Yeon Hee. Chul orders Sung Bin to look into John Moss.

Byung Guk sees a text message Sung Bin sent to Yeon Hee and throws the phone in anger, hurting Yeon Hee. Hee Ja visits Chu Ja in her house. She gives Chu Ja a large sum of money and tells her to leave the country with Hwa Young.

Hwa Young learns that Hee Ja gave her mom money and asked her to leave the country and goes to Hee Ja’s house.

Jin Sook and Chan Sik drink together at the restaurant as they find it hard to break up. Jin Sook’s family is worried about her as she did not come home at night. Hwa Young comes to Yeon Hee’s house and comes across Jin Woo, making Yeon Hee agonize.

Jin Sook goes to Chu Ja’s house and persuades Chan Sik to come back to the restaurant. Chul meets Byung Guk and tells him to end things with his mistress and go back to Yeon Hee. Byung Guk receives an anonymous envelope with photos in it.

Chu Ja stops Hwa Young from going to meet Byung Guk and pleads with her to stop her revenge plan. So Ra happens to end up at Yeon Hee’s cafe while waiting for Chu Ja. Byung Guk tells Yeon Hee to agree to get divorced out of anger.

Byung Guk learns about how Hwa Young and Sung Bing know each other. Chan Sik blames Hwa Young.

Hwa Young meets John, who she knew from the US. Yeon Hee goes to kindergarten to pick Jin Woo up and realizes Jin Woo has left with someone else. Chu Ja senses that Chan Sik is having a hard time because of a woman. Jin Sook falls sick.

Hwa Young yells at So Ra for making Jin Woo hurt. Yeon Hee comes into conflict with Hee Ja.

Hwa Young goes to Yeon Hee's house and gives her something that puts Yeon Hee and her in-laws in shock.

Byung Guk apologizes to Yeon Hee and asks her for forgiveness. However, Yeon Hee is frustrated as Hee Ja receives shocking photos of Yeon Hee and Sung Bin. Meanwhile, Chul gets loans against his shares and wires investment funds to John Moss.

Byung Guk personally asks Sung Bin about Yeon Hee's past and even hires a private detective to investigate.

Hee Ja and Jin Sook see Byung Guk and Yeon Hee fight. Hee Ja learns about Yeon Hee's past and gets infuriated. On the other hand, Yeon Hee finds it weird that Byung Guk brings up her past now because he knew everything when they got married.

Chul asks Byung Guk to forgive Yeon Hee, saying he is the one to blame, but Byung Guk is still mad.

Hwa Young tells Chul that she is Dong Hyun's sister, putting Chul in shock. Byung Guk comes back home.

Yeon Hee visits her father and apologizes to him in tears, saying she is the cause of all this mess.

Hwa Young learns that Byung Guk promised Yeon Hee that he would help Chul's company make a comeback.

Angry at Yeon Hee, Hee Ja tells the housemaid to pack her stuff up while she is outside for a while.

Yeon Hee is tortured to see Geum Ok and Jun Hee frustrated. Sung Bin visits Hwa Young to ask what she has done to Chul's family and company. Feeling sorry for Yeon Hee, Geum Ok goes to Hee Ja's house, but Hee Ja does not open the door for her.

Hwa Young appears at the stockholders' meeting, startling Chul. Byung Guk looks in on Geum Ok at the hospital.

Hwa Young tells Byung Guk that she will be a good mom to Jin Woo. Yeon Hee dreams about Hwa Young taking Jin Woo away from him and becomes anxious. So, Yeon Hee goes to see Jin Woo at kindergarten and comes across with Hee Ja.

Sung Bin submits a resignation letter to Hwa Young, but Hwa Young tells him to reconsider it. Yeon Hee starts to work at the cafeteria of CN Group and runs into her old friend there. Sang Doo visits Hwa Young and shows her something shocking.

Hee Ja tells Byung Guk to go on blind dates as she cannot accept Hwa Young as her daughter-in-law, but Byung Guk tells her that he'll move out with Jin Woo instead. Yeon Hee calls Jin Sook and asks her to let her meet Jin Woo.

Hee Ja forcefully takes Jin Woo away from Yeon Hee, and Yeon Hee sobs as she watches Jin Woo go away, breaking Chul's heart. Jin Sook drinks with Chan Sik and finds herself in Chan Sik's house the next morning. Yeon Hee has an ominous dream.

After Geum Ok's funeral, Yeon Hee gets to spend a few days with Jin Woo, but Hee Ja keeps calling her to tell her to bring Jin Woo back to her house. Sang Doo sees Hwa Young and Byung Guk together.

After seeing the photo of Chul and Hwa Young together, Yeon Hee looks into it and learns that Chul was with Haw Young on the day Geum Ok passed away. Jin Woo hears Yeon Hee's voice when she is not there with him and leaves the house.

Yeon Hee finds Jin Woo at the police station, and Hee Ja, Byung Guk, and Hwa Young appear. Myung Woon, an attorney, tells Yeon Hee that he wants to help her with the divorce suit, but Yeon Hee leaves as she gets mad at Myung Woon's prank.

Myung Woon gets harsh on Yeon Hee to find out the truth behind Dong Hyun's death, and Yeon Hee slaps him out of anger. Chu Ja and Ssang Soon run into Yeon Hee during the training session at their new workplace, and Chu Ja tries to leave.

Jin Woo calls Yeon Hee and tells her that he got hurt because of Hwa Young, and Yeon Hee brings him home.

Myung Woon helps Yeon Hee when Chul ends up at a police station after causing a scene at his previous company.

Hwa Young goes to Yeon Hee and gives her divorce papers. Chul plans to leave this world out of guilt.

Jin Woo asks Hee Ja who his biological mother is, making her flustered. Byung Guk takes Jin Woo to the hospital after witnessing Jin Woo's strange behaviors, and Jin Woo is diagnosed with somnambulism. Chul regains his consciousness.

Hwa Young brings Jin Woo to her workplace, and Sang Doo comes across Jin Woo and asks about his parents.

Yeon Hee and Byung Guk both prepare for the divorce trial. Hwa Young hires gangsters to beat Sang Doo up.

Yeon Hee runs into Hwa Young after the trial and warns her that she will take everything back from her.

On the visitation day, Yeon Hee waits for Jin Woo, but Hwa Young tells her Jin Woo doesn't want to go to her.

Gong Hee finds out that the ring Ki Sub gave her is a very cheap one. Sang Doo meets with Sung Bin.

Chan Sik searches Hwa Young’s room to find the surrogacy contract but gets caught by Chu Ja and Hwa Young. Yeon Hee asks Hwa Young to give her the surrogacy contract, and Sang Doo happens to see it. Myung Woon meets Byung Guk to ask a favor.

Jin Sook moves in with Chan Sik to Chu Ja’s house and suffers from Chu Ja and Ssang Soon’s ill-treatment.

After finding out how Hwa Young tried to switch the eggs, Byung Guk gets mad and strangles Haw Young.
