The Sounds

Maggie Abbott joins her husband, Tom, in the small town of Pelorus, New Zealand, where he has been setting up a sustainable salmon fishery; Tom takes a kayak out from their sailboat and doesn't return.

Maggie is devastated when the search for Tom is now considered a recovery mission; Tom takes shelter in an abandoned building, but he severely injured and has a limited water supply.

Stranded and injured, Tom reluctantly accepts help.

Maggie is devastated upon receiving more bad news about Tom; Jack makes a discovery; Esther makes a connection.

Maggie heads back to town after the confrontation with Tom.
