Gyeong-hye, a mother of Taepoong who has been suffering an aftereffect from a car accident, has wished to die after his death. One day, she hears shocking news.

U-ra is devastated by the result of DJ audition and plans something different. Meanwhile, Gyeong-hye visits a matchmaking company for her son Taepoong.

After visiting a matchmaking company, Gyeong-hye introduces Ji-yeon to Taepoong. Meanwhile, U-ra visits Jun-seok's parents but senses something feels off.

As Jun-seok lapses into a coma, U-ra finds a hospital to terminate the pregnancy. U-jeong witnesses Ji-yeon having an affair with someone else.

After the massive chaos had passed, U-ra tells her family that she'd been with Taepoong that night and that she's carrying his child.

Yu Ra's parents are devastated to find out that Tae Poong is the father of Yu Ra's baby; Yu Jung senses something is strange about the situation; Kyung Hye decides to have Tae Poong and Yu Ra marry, despite sensing something unusual.

Yu Ra wants to marry Tae Poong before Jun Seok wakes up; Yu Jung keeps asking Yu Ra about what happened that day, and Yu Ra gets anxious that she might find out the truth.

Sang Hyeon goes to see Woo Seok at his office and at home; Hwa Yeon tries to stop him from seeing her husband; Kyung Hye suggests that Yu Ra and Tae Poong go on a family trip.

Yu Ra finds out the foundation her mother-in-law has been donating to has been going through turmoil, so she tells her about it.

Ura tells Jun-seok that their baby had been miscarried and that she married Tae-poong and had his child.

Gyeong-hye is arrested as a suspect to the case of murder; Yura finds out that Gyeong-hye suffers from hematologic malignancy.

While Gyeong-hye is brought into custody and taken to the prosecution, Yura changes Gyeong-hye will to snatch her property.

Tae-poong realizes that Hwa-yeon was the last person that Gyeong-hye called before she gets arrested.

As Tae-poong finds a clue to the case, Hwa-yeon orders people to lock him in rehab. Tae-poong escapes but falls in a lake.

From drowning in the lake, Tae-poong suffers from posterior Savant syndrome. With a help of Soo-hui, he changes his identity to Min-hyeok and becomes a lawyer.

Ura is stunned as she spots Min-hyeok whom she thought looked exactly like Tae-poong; Ura requests a fingerprint identification.

Tae-poong looks for the online streamer who did a false testimony on Kyung-hye's accident. U-jeong receives a call from a random person that they saw Tae-poong, who has been out of reach for a while.

U-jeong goes over to the prosecutor's room and mistakes Min-hyuk for Tae-poong. Tae-poong decides to take his vengeance on U-jeong, thinking that her family abandoned him.

Yu Jung's mother leaves a note saying she plans to kill herself and goes missing.

After getting hospitalized because of shrimp powder, Min-hyuk meets his second challenge because of Yoo-jung. Meanwhile, Yoo-ra tries to approach Seo-joon by making use of the plagiarism incident.

Yoo-jung and Soo-hee become closer after the pickpocketing incident. Min-hyuk pressures Sook-ja to be ejected from his building.

As some problems occur in maintaining her contract, Yoo-ra plans to use President Ko's child to win his heart. Min-hyuk remembers who attacked him.

Min Hyuk realizes DL caused his mother's death, so he tries to find a way into the group; he finds a connection in Seo Jun; Kang, the former prosecutor in charge of his mother's case, just filled an opening in the DL legal department.

Chief Kang ends up keeping his job, but Min Hyuk finds another way to make him and the culprit turn on each other.

Min Hyuk becomes the chief legal officer of DL Group; he meets Yu Jung as he's dealing with the abusive customer from last time.

Yu Jung wakes up with a serious headache; she remembers how she acted last night and regrets it, feeling embarrassed.
