Be Melodramatic

Three 30-year-old friends, Jinju, Eun-jung and Hanju reminisce about how they came to live together. Jinju gets dumped and pursues her career instead. Hanju meets a bizarre man, who leaves her with a baby. Eun-jung finds an unlikely sponsor.

After a long rest, Eun-jung decides to do something and cooks lunch for her brother. Jinju meets Beom-su again and realizes that he is even more startling than she had thought. Meanwhile, Hanju struggles to obtain fried chicken late at night.

While negotiating with Beom-su, Jinju meets an unexpected person. Hanju tries to feed Doyeon fried chicken with Jae-hoon. Eun-jung runs into Somin during a shoot for a talk show.

Jinju and Beom-su discuss the events of their wild night and try to do away with the awkwardness. Eun-jeong and Somin's show is edited into a hit, and Arang suggests Somin to be the subject of a new documentary.

After recalling her relationship with Hwan-dong, Jinju goes clubbing with Eun-jung and Hanju to flaunt their physical beauty. Hanju unwittingly sees Jae-hoon's girlfriend cheating, and Eun-jung visits Somin to suggest making a documentary.

Facing crisis, Jinju and Beom-su decide to showcase their immovable will. Eun-jeong finds Somin to be too honest, and Hongdae suggests Eun-jeong to join her on the screen. Hanju gives the crew what they want for the sake of product placement.

Jinju has trouble writing a confession scene, and Beom-su tries to help by asking her out on a date. Hanju and Jae-hoon grow closer while sharing their memories of past confessions. Eun-jeong reveals a secret to Somin on purpose.

While negotiating with Hanju's workplace, Jinju receives an offer from a major production company. Somin and her manager, Minjun, reminisce about their school days. Eun-jeong sees a footage of herself and is dismayed by what she discovers.

Beom-su loses his production crew one by one to his junior, Hwan-dong. Jinju gets a personal office and unwittingly throws a party, thanks to eager guests. Increasingly aware of Hongdae's absence, Eun-jung revisits places of her memory with him.

Jin-ju's past and present come to light as gossip spreads rapidly among writers; a foulmouthed director tries Eun-jeong's patience.

Rumors create a rift in Beom-su and Jin-ju's relationship; Eun-jeong's brother, Lee Hyo-bong, advises her to seek treatment.

Beom-su confesses his feelings, but it unwittingly turns into a heated debate; Eun-jeong's vision of Hong-dae takes a violent turn.

A mortifying incident puts a strain on one relationship but brings another closer together; the production moves forward, although bumpily.

Beom-su, Jin-ju, Han-ju and Jae-hun take a short trip to cool off; Eun-jeong heads to an orphanage where she meets a fellow patron.

When an accident moves up the production schedule by several months, Beom-su gets pulled into endless meetings, causing Jin-ju to grow upset.

Jin-ju sits down to write satisfying endings for her characters; her friends and family find closure and welcome new adventures.
